Stalking Victim Awareness
The following is a listing of websites with information about stalking and some information about my stalking victim status.
Stalking Resource Center is a national website with model stalking statute to be copied into law in every state. There is information on statistics and how individual state laws are being affected by specific cases. There is even a Stalking Incident and Behavior Log.
Are You Being Stalked? is a website describing the stalking laws and tips for protection.
Stalking Victim Sanctuary is a website showing courageous people and how others can become courageous.
End Stalking in America describes how this is an epidemic that is under recognized and under supported.
Stalking and Other Forms of Intrusive Contact discusses how this can be a problem among teenagers and young adults.
Stalking Resource Center calls on states to strengthen their current stalking laws.
Stalking Behavior is a website that educates the public and provides resources for people researching this issue.
Wikipedia Stalking Entry gives a lay definition of stalking for the general public.
Antistalking Website lists resources as well as a book published on the topic to help spread awareness.
I am a stalking victim. I believe each stalking victim has their own story to tell, since stalking is an individualized crime. Each
stalker works to individualize their crime against their own victim. Stalking is one of the hardest crimes to prosecute. I believe
this is partly due to the fact that stalking victims go into hiding to protect themselves and are unavailable to go to court to
help with the prosecution. Stalking affects all parts of the stalking victim's life. It is up to the goodness of people in the
stalking victim's life to support the stalking victim. There is little help from other avenues.
One of the reasons there is little help for stalking victims is that many people who are in the position to help don't actually
believe the crime is a crime and that it is even being committed. Part of the problem in getting assistance is that the stalker
sees it as his/her duty to destroy the stalking victim's life. This includes the personal life, the work life, the family life
and in some cases the actual sense of being alive. It is possible for stalking victims to turn up dead before people actually
believe there is or was a problem at all.
In my case, gossip, a study and an investigation were used against me. People who knew me for years, including my family joined
in on the disaster that ended my life as I knew it. I am still alive at the time of writing this, but my life has been shattered
and it is beyond repair. I am unable to live in the house where I wanted to retire. I am unable to work in the career that I
wanted to work in until retirement. I am also unable to get the support I need to produce an income at all. At the time of my
writing this, the educational resources on this website are my sole source of income. They are listed at low costs so that the
educational world can afford to purchase them, since many teachers are the ones buying their own educational resources for use
in the classroom. I am also pursuing a career as a writer.
One of the reasons I am honing my programming and writing skills to support this website is that I am currently unable to work at
what would be considered a normal job. In my case, things have been done to me while I sleep, so that sleeping is a scary thought.
This makes having a normal sleeping schedule very difficult to do. This in turn makes it difficult to hold a job with normal hours.
I also have the issue of propaganda being spread about me by word of mouth as well as online through websites and email. Some people
have been convinced by my fleet of stalkers that my resume is fake, even though it can all be verified. Some people have been
convinced that there are many reasons why I would not be a good employee, even though I have many good reviews to support that I
am a strong employee who supports whatever organization that employs me. This website is evidence that I am able to perform at many
different skills and have a wealth of knowledge to give to people in support of my former career as an educator.
It is hard to describe the unspeakable acts which have been committed against me. I can summarize them in saying that I have been
physically, mentally, emotionally and psychically harmed by my stalkers. One stalker is now dead after dying accidentally while
being apprehended by the authorities for the umpteenth time. Many other people have taken the law into their own hands and have
joined in on becoming my stalkers. For some reason the multiple investigations into my activities which have yielded no convictions
against me personally have not dissuaded the masses of people who think I must have done something wrong based on the rumors
circulated by my stalkers. Showing people that I am a hard worker and a good person has been my main defense against the allegations
which have been hurled my way. The manufactured evidence as well as the purchased false testimony has been enough to stir the pot
and cause the stalking to continue.
I would like to do what I can to support the education of the general public about stalking. I feel it is through education that
people will make this crime end. Stalkers use the fears of others, who do not have all of the facts, to harm their stalking victims.
So, the more people who are educated about the crime and about the people who have fallen victim to this crime, the better
chances we have for successful prosecution of this crime and the eventual dying off of the crime all together.
It is also my belief that the education of date rape and date rape drugs can help in stopping more stalking crimes from
happening in the future. I don't believe all teenagers know when they are a date rape victim or when they are the person
committing the crime of date rape. This lack of knowledge can lead to future criminals and victims and thus compound the issue.
Date rape can happen to anyone at any age, but it all starts in the teenage years. When I was date raped, I truly believe the
person who raped me did not know that he was raping me, even though I worked very hard at explaining the situation to him.
I do not know what happened to him after I dropped my contact with him, but I do know that I was not his first victim. I didn't
understand why he went through so many girlfriends until I experienced it for myself. When I explained what happened to my
friends, they didn't believe it was a crime at all. They believed it was my fault. To me, this shows a general lack of
education in the teenage world which leads to a general lack of knowledge in the adult world. When someone says no to sex, it
needs to mean no to both the person saying it as well as to the person hearing it. No means no has to mean something.
