"You know, you've become a real kvetch. As a matter of fact, these days you are a real pain."
"I don't understand. What did I do wrong, Mitch?"
"You're doing it right now, George."
"Oops. You mean using telepathy when you want to talk out loud, huh?"
"Yes... How are we ever going to fit in? You make me look like I'm talking to myself."
"Uh oh. Do you mean I've been blowing our cover?"
"Uh, yeah. We are busy planning a major invasion. Our cover as house plants is really looking bad when only one plant is in the conversation."
"Okay, Mitch. I'll be a talking-out-loud plant from now on. We will be praised for our invasion plan. Talking house plants unite!"

Hiya Janine,
Honestly laughed out loud. You have quite an imagination. No nits, except to change the authors name; it is too hard to pronounce. Thanks for your critique by the way. This is an odd way to practice a craft. I am not making light of Irv in the least, simply chasing a possible laugh with him. Sometimes perhaps you'll wonder if anyone could possibly understand what you are talking/writing about. Sometimes; you are simply guessing yourself and that is the beauty in practice no matter how it might seem.

Very cute, Janine. I talk to my house plants all the time but they never talk back. Now I wonder if they are using telepathy to talk behind my back :).
