EXTENDER ATTACHMENT
[FlashXer] EXERCISE: FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2008
Thinking about january it seems tome that we have been quite lucky
here where I live. We've spent the entire month with just a
smattering of
snow. Not time lost, no problems at all. And that is very good of
course.
Now it is rainging very hard, and the report is that it may become snow,
somewhere up the line. We'll we'll see.
I don't want to snow you with a tough prompt, so i think this one
will be fairly easy. It should lend itself to some pretty hard hitting
fiction. if it doesn't, well don't blame me. I do the best I can with
my limited talent and ability...here goes...
LISTEN PAL, YOU BETTER BE CAREFUL. WATCH YOUR BACK.
Usual rules. 1000 words. In the subject line please your name,
the word Pal and the story title.
Better listen to me, get it. Start writing or else...hear me?
get with it or we are both gonna be in trouble.
Have fun

Janine's Pal "Extender Attachment" 48 words
"Listen pal, you better be careful. Watch your back." Said the stranger.
Fred ducked into a nearby store, purchased the extender attachment and installed it.
Fred is now able to view his back at any time with his new extender eyeballs attached to the back of his head.

Janine,
I do like this little story quite a bit. It led to
some mental images, not all of which are pleasant. I
wonder what Fred does when it rains or hails. How does
he protect his extender eyeballs? How about in the hot
sun? Does it hurt those eyes when he wears a hat? Does
he have to sleep on his side? Does he have to wash his
hair differently? Soap in the eyes burns.
No nits here, just lots of questions in case you want
to write about Fred again.
Thanks for the fun read.
