INTERMISSION

[FlashXer] EXERCISE: SUNDAY, APRIL 20, 2008

As with any creative endeavor--and sometimes coming up with prompts may be so considered, I think the juices just don't flow. So, recently I've been flopping around like a flounder in the bottom of a skiff...but I think the one today will work. You'll let me know by your output, of course. And, if you follow this one, you may be somewhat earthy...if you so choose. I hope you are all up to this challenge....

WHAT'S YOUR PLEASURE DARLING...SHALL WE EAT FIRST, OR?

Usual rules. 1000 words. In he subject line, please, your name, the word Pleasure and the story title. Have fun with this. Writing to it might turn out to be a real pleasure.

"What's your pleasure, Darling? Shall we eat first, or?" Rob had that look in his eye.

The raise of the eye brows and those bedroom eyes was Meg's response.

There were a couple of hours of pleasure seeking in various locations in the house.

Panting and sweating, Meg said, "I do believe eating is an intermission activity, my dear. Cheese and grapes?"

Cute story. Though my mind must be slow, because I couldn't figure out what cheese and grapes had to do with the story. Duh, silly me. -Rita

Janine,
What a pleasurable 'intermission'. Clever dialog that said volumes with only 62 words. Nice. I've made some comments/nits, see embedded. Use or lose as suits your writer's voice. A fun read just before bedtime. Thanks,
Sharon
