DO WE KNOW ABOUT WOMEN?

[FlashXer] EXERCISE: SUNDAY SEPT. 14, 2008

I never took a course in college or anywhere else on writing prompts. And I don't think there are any rules. It is like owning one's own fiefdom with out rules. So this time, I have he start of a prompt for you, read it, and go beyond the double ellipses to end the sentence. You finish it and then decide what to write. So that could be a challenge...I hope it is.

LET ME SPELL IT OUT. SO FAR AS I'M CONCERNED YOU ARE....

Usual rules: 1000 words. In the subject line, please, your name, the word spell and the story title.
Have fun. And if you think the course should be different, let me know. All suggestions will be happily discarded...
Have fun

"Let me spell it out. So far as I'm concerned, you are off your rocker," said Paul.

"But hear me out," said Brad.

"No, I've heard enough of this. No you are not going to go to Venus," Said Paul.

"But I have to try out the book. It's from Earth and I know they know all about women," said Brad.

"No, I've heard enough of this. No you are not going to go to Venus," Said Paul. @@@Said doesn't need to be capitalized.@@@

"But I have to try out the book. It's from Earth and I know they know all about women," said Brad. @@@This part is a little confusing. I know he wants to go to Venus to try out 'Women are from Venus...', but the last part of the sentence confuses me.@@@

Another cute one Janine! Dont forget to use contractions and I would drop the last 2 dialogue tags. If flows better without it. As I read it these are martians that some how got hold of the book and want to go to Venus to see if what the book says is true. If thats the case, would martian names work better?
