Based on this sign, I am saving a huge amount of money by taking public transportation instead of driving everwhere. It's just incredible how much money it costs to have the freedom to drive in a car.

People in the United States value their freedom quite a lot, so being able to drive anywhere at any time is a huge car sales push. However there needs to be a valence between freedom and saving our environment. Public transportation and greener fuels will help us get there. We are on our way.

I have always enjoyed fountains. This one is very nice and certainly adds beauty to the business park. I wish we had more fountains around town. They are very calming. This fountain is on Avenue of the Stars, near Santa Monica Blvd. The Metro 16, 28, 316 and the 728 busses allgo by this fountain.

On the right hand side of this picture is a sign pointing the way for wheel chair access. The problem is the sign seems to be pointing to a flight of stairs.

Now I did see a ramp to the building oround the corner from this stairway and it is possible the sign is referring to that access, even though it is completely out of sight at this location. The sight gives food for thought.

This very old marker is still in the cement sidewalk after all this time. I'm told this man is a very famous developer from back in the 1950's. I'll have to look him up sometime. This marker is located on a corner near the intersection of Wilshire and Santa Monica Blvd. Metro busses go by it every day. Try taking the 704 or the 720 to see this marker in Century City.

This beautiful doorway is just a display in the middle of a mall in Century City. It is a thing of beauty. I think this is a great way to advertise outside of a building supply store where most people don't go.
