This creative bike rack is located in front of Denny's restaurant at the Metro Rail 5th Street Station on the Blue Line. There is a nice mall area at this station. The mall extends to both sides of Long Beach Blvd in this location. There is a large Walmart with public restrooms in the mall area on the west side of the station.

There is so much to see in this world. All it takes is a keen eye. These faces are on the side of a movie theater at Long Beach Blvd and 6th St in Long Beach. There are four sets of two faces. Each face is different. The picture here shows the least interesting faces in the batch. It's nice people take the time to add something special to an otherwise plain building.

This tilework is on the side of a parking structure in a shopping center in Long Beach, near the Metro Rail Blue Line 5th St station. The title at the bottom of the picture gives the name: Founding of the City of Long Beach.

I like the name of this restaurant because I used to call bathroom breaks for the campers at summer camp pit stops. I know that doesn't make for good restaurant talk, but it always got a grown from the girls when they learned about the existence of pit toilets at other summer camps. The camp where I was a counselor had flush toilets and I considered them a luxury for a summer camp.
