Keep in mind that this is a UK based web site, so watch out for the different ways to spell in the English language.

This site is a web site where kids can post their writing from school or from home. There are collaborative writing projects and book reviews posted by kids. This is a UK based web site.

 

KeyPals Club

This site is a place for students and teachers to sign up to have an electronic pen pal. Classes can contact classes through the teacher's e-mail account or individual students can contact each other. Many different countries are represented.

 

Project Gutenberg

This site provides online versions of books. Connect to the site for more information on this ongoing project. These books are not in copyright anymore, so not all books can be found on this web site. But if the library does not have some of these titles, this could be another way to have students read them.

 


Word a Day
