Grading Policy - Janine Bouyssounouse (11/05)
Throughout the semester, your grades will be determined by test scores, quality of work, and percentage of assignments completed. Grades will be updated each learning period.
1. Completion of Assignments (Assignments and Quizzes)
a. Each meeting is a time to turn in more assignments and raise the percentage of work completed.
b. Completion of work is important to ensure a positive learning experience.
c. Completion of work accounts for 60% of the grade for each class.
2. Tests/Quality of Work
a. Online test scores are part of this grade. The percentage correct on each test will be calculated. Tests assigned, but not completed will receive a zero.
b. There will be a quality grade for each learning period which is based on the quality of work submitted throughout the learning period. This grade will be like a test score averaged in with any other tests for the class.
I understand that my grade will be determined as follows:
1. Completion of Assignments 60%
2. Tests/Quality of Work 40%
